Here you will find several exercises on Polish perfective and imperfective verbs. All exercises can be completed online, and you will immediately receive feedback on whether they were done correctly.
How to check your answers
To check Polish language exercises and tests online by yourself, find and click the blue “Sprawdź” (“Check”) button directly under each one. If the exercise is fully completed, you will see the number of correct answers. In some exercises, an additional “Pokaż odpowiedź” (“Show answer”) button will appear (on smartphones, it’s the “Eye” icon). To clear all fields and retake the test, click the “Powtórz” (“Repeat”) button.
Polish Perfective and Imperfective Verbs: online tests
1. Drag the infinitives into the empty boxes next to the corresponding personal verb forms.
2. Add the perfective verbs (in the infinitive form) to their imperfective counterparts. Also indicate the prefixes that created the new words.
3. Transform the sentences according to the example.
4. Create simple future tense forms from the infinitives.
5. Change the verbs to the past tense, perfective aspect (according to the example).
6. Complete the sentences with the correct past tense forms of the verbs (in the appropriate aspect).
